ISSS Mission
The mission of the Office of International Student and Scholar Services is to support students and scholars in maintaining their visa status while studying at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ. Our objective is to assist international students and scholars with social adjustment and address any challenges they may encounter as newcomers to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and the United States. We also encourage students and scholars to engage in various social, educational, and recreational programs and events to connect with other international and domestic students, faculty, and staff.
Vision
The Office of International Student Programs and Services strives to be the primary resource for non-immigrant regulations for F-1/M-1 students, J-1 scholars, and ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ.
Statistics
OIES serves as the primary resource for non-immigrant students and scholars at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ, Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College-Orange, and Lamar State College-Port Arthur.
