Data governance training is essential for organizations to manage their data effectively, ensuring it is accurate, secure, and used responsibly.
ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Data Literacy Program
Data Literacy Training has arrived at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ for staff and faculty! The training can be accessed in the HR Training Nest on the LUConnect page, using LEA Account credentials. For any login difficulties, reaching out to the HR department is advised.
Training sessions have been assigned to support ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ’s campus-wide data governance goals.
As employees complete the Texas DIR Data Literacy, Texas DIR Data Security, and Texas DIR Data Privacy courses in their HR Training Nest, they will earn corresponding Anthology Milestone badges to recognize their knowledge and commitment to responsible data practices.
ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ employees who attend the in-person session or watch the recorded Data Governance Summer 2025 training can also earn the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Data Governance Summer 2025 Anthology Milestone Badge, recognizing their engagement in strengthening Lamar’s data culture.
